You are welcome to visit the Huaqing Pond, 25 km to the east from Xi’an, that became a place for hot spring bathing during the Qin Dynasty; the Small Goose Pagoda, 1 km to the south from the city center, one of the eight famous scenic features of Xi’an, built between 707 – 710 during the Tang Dynasty for keeping sutras brought from many countries by a pilgrim monk and a great translator Yijing, a large bell with 16 lucky words engraved in it will ring sending your regards to your family if you miss much being faraway from your family, just write down the family name on the label; the Bell and Drum Towers, in the very heart of the city, built during the Ming Dynasty, to listen to the morning bell and the dusk drum; Qianling Mausoleum, situated in the north of Quan County in Shaanxi Province, containing the tombs of Emperor Gaozong and Empress Wu Zetian of Tang Dynasty, two tablets devoted to these two people with the records of Epmeror’s achievements composed by the Empress and written by the Emperor himself on one tablet and just without a word on the second tablet belonged the Empress herself (she has boundless beneficence and the historians assume that she could let the later generations judge her merits and demerits); Famen Monastery, 118 km to the west of Xi’an, with the finger bones of Sakyamuni, the founder of Buddhism, the largest of this kind an underground palace with other Buddhist relics.
