SHANGHAI
Shanghai is the largest financial and commercial metropolis of Asian Continent. It’s located in the mouth of the biggest river of the country, Yangtze River, on the shore of the East China Sea. The name Shanghai means on the sea. Such a location let the city become an ideal port, where eastern and western cultures met. Shanghai was called Paris in the East and New York in Asia but the most beautiful name was The Pearl of the East.
The city is divided into two parts: Pudong and Puxi areas by the Huangpu River. Pudong area is just like a special economic zone: there are many banks, office-centers, skyscrapers and new residential complexes here. As for the Puxi area, it’s full of different attractions for tourists, restaurants, bars and shopping centers.
