The Ming Tombs is a group of mausoleums of 13 Ming Emperors and their empresses and concubines (1368-1644). It’s situated in the beauty spot 50 km to the North from the Beijing and covers an area of 40 square kilometers. Only two of the tombs are open to the public. They are Changling with its magnificent surface pavilion and Dingling with its underground palace. These two tombs are the most famous tombs. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||
