The tour “ The lands by the sea"
You'll tour Southern Primorye, admiring the region's unusual beauty - the jagged Sykhote-Alin Mountains, the picturesque bays and beaches of the Sea of Japan, the crystal clear water of rapid rivers, tumbling waterfalls deep in the wilderness - an unforgettable experience!
You'll start a 200 km tour from Vladivostok by car (and off-road vehicle, if necessary) with an experienced guide to Lazovsky County, home to
LAZOVSKY NATURE RESERVE, one of six Primorye reserves. First stop is Sergeevka village where we offer you a tour of the Archaeological Museum (Stone and Bronze Ages). After this Gostiny Dvor Tourist Area awaits you. Wooden lodges (each sleeps two, outdoor facilities), a restaurant and Russian steam bath are at your disposal. You'll see cultivated ginseng plants, prized in Asia as "the Root of Life".
The next day - a 83 km tour (unpaved road) to Lazo, the County Seat at the edge of the reserve. The day's program includes a tour of Lazovsky Reserve's Museum of Natural History and camping near Elomov Spring which runs through a canyon past old-growth forests.
The following day you'll have a 7 km hike to ELOMOV WATERFALLS. The approach to the falls area is up Elomov Spring (9 crossings). As the canyon narrows, you hear the roar of Bolshoi Waterfall - a 30-meter tumble over black boulders down to a deep, crystal-clear lake. After Bolshoi come two lesser falls - Pryamoi, 20 meters, and Staircase Falls. Together the three falls create one of the most beautiful spots in all of Primorye. After this - drive to the
PETROV ISLAND Zone, which includes Petrov Island itself, long, sandy beaches and a lazy stream, all on the coast of the Sea of Japan. A wooden lodge with 2 rooms (each sleeps three, outdoor kitchen, shower and facilities) or zone camp are at your disposal for several days.
Next two days - Petrov Island, "the Pearl of Primorye", home to the ancient Yew Tree and natural botanical gardens, Zone area excursions, sea bathing, nights on the seashore .... a memorable experience for all!
The following day you'll drive 43 kilometers to the medicinal hot springs. After this it's time to go back. Last stop is Vavila Tourist Area where wooden lodges, a restaurant and a soothing steam bath awaits you after 65 km drive.
Next morning – drive to VLADIVOSTOK.
Duration of 800 km tour - 7 days.

ITINERARY
Day 1. Vladivostok - Sergeevka drive; Archaeological Museum; night at Gostiny dvor Tourist Area.
Day 2. Drive to Lazo; Museum of Natural History; Elomov Spring; night camping.
Day 3. Excursion to Elomov Waterfalls; drive to Petrov Island Zone; night at camp or lodge.
Day 4-5. Excursion to Petrov Island by motor boat; Zone area excursions, nights at zone camp or lodge.
Day 6. Tour to medicinal hot springs (43 kilometers, unpaved road); drive to Vavila Tourist Area (65 km, unpaved road), night at Vavila Tourist Area.
Day 7. Sergeevka Village, Museum of Natural History; departure to Vladivostok.
Included: transfers, accommodation, all meals, guide, interpreter, excursions.
