Located in the historical building of the Stock Exchange, designed by the architect T. De Thomon, constructed in the beginning of the XIX century. The largest naval museum in the world, the oldest museum in Russia, founded in 1709. The museum numbers over 800,000 items, including "the Grandfather of Russian Navy" - the old boat of Peter the Great, models of vessels, examples of armaments and military machinery, marine paintings.
