Trekking on the Lake Baikal
ITINERARY
Day 1. Arrive in Irkutsk, transfer to the hotel***. Accommodation
at the hotel. City tour, including a visit to the main sights of interest.
You'll see buildings created in beautiful Siberian baroque, Russian classical
style, in neoclassicism and constructivism, nice merchant houses and wooden
houses so typical for old Siberia. Visit to Znamensky nunnery famous for its
original iconostasis and the site of foundation of Irkutsk fort.
Day 2. Transfer to Listvyanka village at the lake Baikal by a car. Trekking
climbing to Primorsky Mountain Range along a path. Stop
at the head of the Sredniy brook. Lunch. Down the shore of the Lake along
Srednyaya Fold. Installation of tents (a tent for 2 pax each). Dinner. Overnight in the
tents.
Day 3. Breakfast. Trekking in the direction of Listvyanka (about 11 km) along
the shore.
Lunch on the way at Obuteiha Bay. Visit to the grotto. Climbing the path to
Berezovaya Fold and down to Listvyanka. Arrival in Listvyanka. Transfer to Irkutsk. Accommodation in
the hotel ***.
Day 4. Departure transfer to airport or railway station. Departure.
Prime season - May-September.
Included: transfers, accommodation, breakfasts, 2 lunches, 1 dinner; english/
german -speaking guide, entrance fees, transportation according the
program.

Pay attention please:
You should have warm, waterproof clothes,
comfortable shoes with you for this trip. As for the sleeping-bags and
tents, you can have them with you too but we can supply you with them either just
let us know in advance please.
Listvyanka village can be spelled as Listvianka, Listwianka or
Listwyanka village also.
