At this tour you will visit Khuduu Aral is a plain about 30 kilometers long and 20 kilometers wide on the meander of the Kherlen river.The site of Ikh Aurug (palace) of Chinggis Khaan is on this plain. This site is closely connected with the historical work "The Secret history of the Mongols" because it was finished exactly here.

ITINERARY

Day 1.  Arrive in Ulaanbaatar. Transfer to the hotel***. First discovery the town by visiting National museum of history and the museum of art. These 2 buildings explain us the history of the country and its religion. Overnight at the hotel

Day 2. After breakfast visit Ulanbanbaatar: Buddhist Monastery, Gandan Hiid, that is the biggest in Mongolia; visit the museum of natural history where exhibit the fossil, eggs and trace of dinosaur in Gobi, and the ancient palace of Mongolia emperor (Bogd Khan). The afternoon is free for shopping. In the evening, you will attend the spectacle of music and Mongol dancing, dinner in a local restaurant. Overnight at the hotel

Day 3.  After breakfast-begin the journey by jeep or microbus. First stop is Terelj Park. Accommodation at the tourist camp. Visit the turtle rock and the dinosaurs park, visit the Old Man Reading a Book. Walking, hiking around, horse riding

Day 4.  After breakfast continue driving to Khuduu Aral - a plain about 30 kilometers long and 20 kilometers wide on the meander of the Kherlen river. This site is closely connected with the historical work "The Secret history of the Mongols" because it was finished exactly here.Accommodation at the tourist camp. Exploration a region of great natural beauty, Bayan Ulaan mountains - the beautiful mountain is elevated 2204 m above sea level and one of picturesque landscapes that one ever saw. Horse riding

Day 5. Horse riding to the historical places like Herleny Huduu aral, where the great khan Temujin was crowned as Genghis khan. On the way you can see gazelle, reindeer, takhi horse, marmot.You will find yourself in the virgin nature, near to the taiga Siberian, in the silence unique with the horse footing. The Mongolian people are nomads who live in the yourte (big tent, set up in the same way, symbolise universe) or in the cabin. You will meet some local people and have an experience their way of live by lodging in their yourte.Accommodation at Ger camp

Day 6. Departure to the capital of Mongolia – Ulaanbaatar. Accommodation at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 7. Breakfast. Drive to Bayangobi. Visit Ovgont temple in Hogno Khaan mountain. You will see Elsen Tasarhai the part of the Great Mongolian Sand dunes and extends about 80 km. The scenery is a perfect combination of desert, picturesque mountains, river and green grassland. Overnight at the tourist camp

Day 8. Drive to Kharakorum – the ancient capital of Mongolia. Visit Erdene Zuu monastery. This Monastery is the first Buddhist monastery in Mongolia. Visit horse-breeding family and get acquainted with nomads’ life. Overnight at the tourist camp

Day 9. Breakfast. Drive back to Ulaanbaatar. Dinner. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 10. Transfer to airport or train station. Departure.

*Horse riding is possible for beginners.


Included: accommodation in hotel in UBT*** (twin), accommodation at the tourist camp (twin only), full board at the tourist camp (not in Ulaanbaatar), guide-interpreter, excursions as per itinerary, entrance fees to all museums and National parks acc the programme, all transfers, local taxes, horse riding fee, folklore show.
