Lake, a Mecca for ornithologists. The lake is located on the very border between Russia and China and it’s the biggest lake in the Russian Far East. There are many lotus flowers blooming on
Khanka Lake in August. If you see water covered with lotus flowers once you’ll never forget it. Over 300 species nest on or migrate through the reserve. During migration, as many as two million birds come through, including White Crane, Japanese Crane, White Stork, geese, ducks, herons and many others. There are more rare birds in this reserve than in any other territory of Eurasia. If
